"Hello Beautiful" by Ann Napolitano. The story revolves around the lives of four sisters, the Padvano girls, over a span of three decades. The sisters, Julia, Sylvie, Cecelia, and Emmeline, are best friends and are inseparable in their close-knit Chicago neighborhood.

Julia, the eldest sister, is depicted as ambitious and focused, always having clear plans for her future. Sylvie, on the other hand, is portrayed as a dreamer who finds solace in books and imagines a life different from the traditional roles of wife and mother. Cecelia and Emmeline, the twins, have their own unique attributes as an artist and a caregiver, respectively.

The story takes a turn when Julia falls in love with William Walters, a history student and college sports star. Initially, everything seems to be falling into place for Julia's planned future. However, when darkness from William's past emerges, Sylvie steps in to help, leading to a shift in dynamics and relationships among the sisters.

"Hello Beautiful" is described as a rich and vivid story that captures the joy, tragedy, trust, and betrayal within a family. The novel delves into the meaning of family and explores whether shattered relationships can be pieced back together.

The passage also includes praise for Ann Napolitano's previous book, "Dear Edward," which was well-received for its powerful and emotional storytelling.
